Nicholas Hudson has won many prizes at the highest levels of solo bagpipe competition. He is currently enrolled at Carnegie Mellon University working towards a degree in Bagpipe Performance. He is a pupil of Alasdair Gillies, who is widely regarded as the greatest piper alive. Nicholas Hudson also plays with the world champion City of Washington Pipe Band. He is an experienced performer, well versed in both traditional and contemporary piping. Nicholas lives in Pittsburgh during the school year, and in the Washington D.C. area during the summer months; his availability for performances travels with him.
